Proactive Monitoring

Two practices. One trusted partner.

Most businesses hire an IT company and a separate consultant. We bring both under one roof so your technology and operations actually work together.

Managed IT Services

We take ownership of your company's technical support needs — proactive monitoring, helpdesk, patch management, and on-site support — so your team can stop fighting technology and start using it. Ongoing or project-based, we reduce the headaches.

Cybersecurity

Enterprise-grade protection built for small business budgets. Endpoint security, email filtering, phishing training, and compliance-ready documentation — because a breach doesn't care how many employees you have.

Tech Stack Assessment & Scalability

We audit your current infrastructure and software, identify what's working and what's costing you, then build a roadmap that scales with your business. We've lived through the wins and the scars of growth — and use that experience to help you move forward confidently.

Project-Based IT Consulting

Scoped engagements for specific initiatives — ITSM system implementations, employee lifecycle automation across HR and IT functions, office buildouts, technology migrations, and more. Defined scope, clear deliverables, done right.

AI Strategy & Adoption

Everyone's looking at AI — but for mid-sized companies, the real question is build or buy, and what actually fits your business. We help you cut through the noise, assess where AI creates real value, and build a practical strategy that evolves as the landscape shifts.

15+ years in high tech. Now in your corner.

Alex Stillings, Founder of Stillings Technology Group

Hi, I'm Alex Stillings

Founder, Stillings Technology Group

At my foundation, I'm a problem solver. And the first thing I do with every problem is ask a question that sounds almost too simple: "What problem are we trying to solve?"

I come back to that question constantly — because in my experience, people often arrive with a solution already in mind. They've Googled it, a friend recommended something, or they saw an ad. And sometimes they're right. But more often, the real problem is hiding underneath the one they brought me. My job is to find it, name it, and fix it.

I've spent over fifteen years in high tech, working with some of the top brands that have scaled and pushed the boundaries of what technology can do. Along the way, I've built and grown teams, supported CEOs and executive leadership, and made sure the right solutions were in place for the people who needed them most. This has included leadership at Twitter, SpaceX, and Vuori.

That experience taught me something important: the businesses that need the most help are often the ones that can least afford a full IT department or a big-name consulting firm. The same level of care, accountability, and problem-solving I brought to the top of the tech world is exactly what I bring to every business owner I work with. I started Stillings Technology Group because growing businesses deserve a technology partner who picks up the phone, shows up when it matters, and thinks about where your business is headed — not just which firewall to buy.

Whether it's personal technology, business infrastructure, or the systems that help you scale, my approach is the same: start with the real problem, take complete ownership, and follow through until it's done right.

Three principles. Every engagement.

These values have served me across the corporate world, with small and medium businesses I've helped grow and scale, and in everyday technology problem-solving. They're not a mission statement on a wall — they're how I actually work.

01

Customer Service

Making technology accessible and personable.

Technology can feel intimidating, impersonal, and full of jargon. I believe the key to great IT support is connecting with people first — making sure you feel heard, understood, and supported before we ever touch a keyboard. When you call, you get a real conversation, not a ticket number. That human connection is the foundation everything else is built on.

02

Ownership

Your problem becomes my problem until it's solved.

Once a problem is brought to me, I own it — completely. Whether I solve it myself or hand it off to the right resource, I carry a high level of accountability for seeing it through. It's almost a nagging to-do list in my mind: I need to get your issue resolved and off both of our radars. No passing the buck, no letting things slip through the cracks. If it's on my list, it's getting done.

03

Follow-Through

It's not done until it's confirmed done — and stays done.

Some people say "done" and move on. I don't. Every problem I solve gets documented, communicated back to you clearly, and confirmed that it actually addressed what you needed. Then I follow up to make sure it hasn't come back. Because a fix that doesn't stick isn't really a fix — and you deserve to know that someone is watching your back.

If you approach technology support through a problem-solving lens focused on customer service, ownership, and follow-through, you're always going to head in the right direction — whether you're solving it yourself or getting the right resource to get it done.
